Do you charge an admission fee for spectators?

NO!

The Festival is free of charge for spectators.

In case you want to take part in a competition/race, a registration fee must be paid.

Can I take part in the competition in case I am underage (below 18 years)?

Yes!

You're more than welcome to participate in the various competitions that happen during our festival. But it is absolutely mandatory that your parents sign a letter of agreement / disclaimer which you can download here.

Where can I park?

There is a big parking lot on the opposite side of the festival-area. A parking fee will be charged there. Parking is only possible for one day, (Thursday and Sunday from 8am to 10pm, Friday and Saturday from 8am to 11pm) It is not possible to leave your car there overnight. If you do so, your car will be towed at your expense. Camping is strictly forbidden.

In case the parking lot is full, a park and ride system will be applied. Additional parking lots will be displayed along the road. There is no pre-sale of parking tickets.

Can my band apply to play a concert?

We kindly ask you to send us no booking requests as we are not focused on concerts. It's pretty much impossible for unknown bands to play a show. Sorry!

Which tracks are open during the Festival?

The following tracks/lines are open to public during the festival:

  • Beginner & Kids Parcours incl. Pumptrack (Pumptrack open only on Thursday, Friday and Sunday)
  • Continental Track
  • RockShox Slopestyle (open only on Friday)
  • Woodpecker
  • Jumpline
  • Pinball
  • Black Line (open only on Thursday and Friday)
  • SRAM Flow Country (partly open, some sections closed)

There will be a 30%-discount on day-tickets and half-day-tickets during the event

10-ride and 20-ride-tickets will be charged as usual

Caution: Various tracks of the bike park will be prepared for the competitions from Monday on (prior to the festival). Please expect detours and restrictions during this time. Thank you for your understanding.

Where can I camp or sleep?

It is strictly forbidden to camp/sleep on the festival site or the surrounding parking lots. Please use official camping grounds or hotels/hostels.

How do I get to Winterberg?

By car:

Use google-maps and keep in mind we have park & ride parking lots (5,- € per day) with free bus shuttle to the bike park.

By train/public transport:

Winterberg is easy to teach by train, check www.bahn.de for connections. Once you arrived at the train station, your journey continues by bus. The lines R28 and S40 will take you to the bike park, the drop-off station is called „Bobbahn“.

By plane:

Closest airports are:

Here's some additional information for the festival:

Glas-bottles, weapons, fireworks and all kinds of violence are strictly forbidden!

In case you think that it is a good idea to bring your dog to such a big event, please put him/her on a leash. Be aware that there will be times with thousands of people on the festival site, especially during Whip Off's.
